awkward moment at Lagoon:Soon after Sifo and I get to the top of the Pipeline Slides:Pipeline Slide Attendant: "Do you have a swimsuit under that?"
Me: "Yes"
Pipeline Slide Attendant: "Can you take off your shirt then when you go down?"
My thoughts: "Am I being punked?"
We did take off our shirts! Thank goodness those slides were closed tubes! Haha! What? Can't a girl be modest even in 2008????... SHEESH!......................................................................................................
WHY DON'T WE...
Obviously I've got no pictures from our Lagoon trip because I'm such a dope! But there is an actually good explanation for that!!!
One of Sa's friends, Amani, invited us to Lagoon with his family and we politely declined "last minute"-like when they called in the morning to tell us they were heading out! Yes, we suck! But at around 1pm as we were driving to find some breakfast (shhhhh!) - me and my big mouth suddenly said "Why don't we go to Lagoon???"...
The rest is history. We invited Anthony and Sifo and baby Sina to make it a family affair and I packed all the soda and whatnots we were going to need and didn't remember the camera until we were in line to buy tickets!!!
Yeah - you're right - that was the lamest excuse ever!

LET'S TAKE TURNS...
We met up our friend Amani, his wife Emily and oldest son Maddox at the Water Park and started a system of sorts to figure out when we watch after the babies and when we get some fun time alone!!!
All I have to say is - maybe we ladies get the slightly raw end of the deals we make with our gentlemen... hehe...
Now even though I got some time to float around on them tubes and got to kick my way past rowdy teens (hey - just keeping it real here) - I also can't complain that I got to come down those mini body slides near the end of our day - - - - nothing can compare to the fun we had with the babies when we were all in the water together!!!
......................................................................................................
TWO THUMBS UP...we're going back!!
So at the end of it all (and yes - this is the end of my blog entry too...so quit sighing so much!) - Coretta and my niece Sina looked like the cutest twins ever! Heiress looked like a curious little kitten on those tubes - this girl never gave much of a reaction to what was going on around her! Atleast she was the only one who actually napped there!!!
Sa, Anthony and Amani got in some volleyball time. Sifo and I were just thrilled to be out and about with lots of baby help!!!..haha...
We got our tickets validated to go back for just a fraction of the price so we're going back hopefully next week and we're definitely NOT going to forget the camera! - Just help me remember to buy batteries for it!....

an afterthought: "I actually learnt something at Lagoon yesterday! - Americans have so much confidence in how they look in public - It's something I know I have (i.e. confidence) - but I truly think there's a fine line between "that" and just being plain "rude"! - think about it.
