Happy 1st Birthday Heiress!
My poor baby turned ONE today and we did absolutely NOTHING to celebrate! Thus we are definitely SOOOOO FIRED!
Just in case that wasn't the worst of it - I had absent-mindedly scheduled her 1yr immunizations for TODAY!!!!!!!! She got 5 shots total! And although the screaming didn't last too long - those bandaids were dreadful to look at considering it was all done on her special day!!!

We're definitely planning to do something tomorrow though because today we just welcomed some friends from Cali who are here for the Samoan Flagweek Celebrations. Between playing hostess and tending to the girls and soothing Sa's injured leg - - - - I am beyond "beat" now!
I wish I could say it is the thought that counts considering every other comment Sa uttered today was "Aww - happy birthday baby"... but this is going down as one of the worst birthdays in our little clan!
I'm just glad though that it's now a year with our little "saiga"... She's the complete opposite of her hot-headed sister! I'm so grateful for her (and Sa and Coretta) - for bringing balance to my crazy life!

so hostess....howz it going? so we were planning on coming out there today when i got off work and going down to watch the flag stuff, but of course, i got home and they weren't ready to go and this, that, and the other and i got annoyed that the house was exactly the way it was when i left this morning...messy! so yeah, i lost the spirit of it all. i just got done cleaning the house and doing laundry - all of which took a whole 30 minutes. i better stop myself before i vent hot air balloon on this bad boy. definitely tomorrow though since thursday is a holiday. howz it going with the guests??? holla atcha later!
