"Unko!" and "Shay-na"

"Uncle" Anthony came over today with cousin Sina - bright and early might I add. For those of you who don't know who Anthony is... He is Sa's first cousin who lives here in Bountiful. He's also one of the few people that Coretta associates with the word "uncle". And is the only other dude that Heiress would trust to even look at her! He and his wife Sifo have a darling little daughter, Sina, who has a "love/hate" relationship with Coretta! They are only months apart in age-Sina being younger; and although they LOVE to be together, they also love to fight!

Anyhow so Sifo had gone to work and they came over. It was a good thing though because Coretta actually woke up when they got here at 8:30am!!! That's probably a record for her! *wink*

Heiress also set a record! She slept in!!! -until 8:30am!... :S

We got the girls ready and decided to tag along while Anthony ran some bank errands. We first went to a Drive-Thru ATM and it was one of the most entertaining moments I've ever had at an ATM before. Between getting the ride side of the card in, pressing the right buttons or ANY of them at all and calling his wife for their PIN number - - - I don't know about Anthony, but I never found the process of taking out money from a bank to be quite hilarious!

So we got the errand done and then decided to go get some lunch for us and for his hunnybuns who worked around the corner from the bank we were at. We decided to get some plates from L&L Hawaiian BBQ! YUMMY! The best part of getting lunch was the fact that they had POKE!!! A hawaiian delicacy made with cubed raw fish, marinated in spices, onions and some kind of seaweed! (Sounds SICK typing it out - but it's sooooooo good!) Think of it as one of those exotic dishes they serve at high-end restaurants....*you don't know what it is, or what's in it but it looks and tastes REALLLLLLLLY GOOD!*

We dropped off some lunch for Sifo - - - She was about ready to call it a day :( . Then we headed back and hung out with the girls at the mini park where we live. After eating, and getting some time on the swings and in the sun, we finally headed indoors! Oh - how it feels good to have cooling units!

Anyhow it's been a fun switch-up to the routine! Anthony and Sina just left to pick up "mom" from work. And Coretta is showing me just how hard it is to see them go by screaming and crying right next to the door!

While I'm talking about how good our day went - I wanted to note that my dryer seems to have fixed itself! No noise! Nicely hot! And the laundry is flowing juuuuuuust perfectly!
At the rate I'm going at, I'll have my linens ready for our guests next week (visiting for Flag week), and Sa will have all his rugby gear ready and clean for the games, AND I'll get some real sleep not having to worry about it all!!!

The weekend is finally here people!!! Get outdoors and Enjoy it!

i didn't know anthony wakes up that early. anyhow teni and fiti have a love/hate relationship just like leka and sina. it's funny but also frustrating to watch them go through that stage. fiti always complains when her cousin has to go home too.

leave it to me to use my downtime at work to get in to blogging....i love your blog spot by the way! who knew it could be so entertaining to read about what other people do during their day. i could sum up my day in 3 words...early, mohammed, exhausted. that about covers it. so i'm happy that you mentioned anthony's mishap at the atm because it just proves to me once again that my attempts to have him become more responsible for family errands is slowly but surely paying off. i'm just happy he didn't try to enter the pin number 20 times and have the machine eat the darn thing. anyway, sina just loves koleka....even if i randomly mention koleka's name at home sina starts jumping up and down. it's hilarious. it makes me happy that they are close....though scared to see what 10-15 years ahead might look like....wow....chilling. well, just thought i'd add my 2 cents to your blog...didn't mean to blow it up. just know that you've truly inspried me and i think it's time to become an official blogger....if that is such a word!
